On a June morning in 2016, in Huntsville, Alabama, the life of 16-year-old Mustafa Bearfield, a Black male, was cut short. On June 21st, Mustafa was near a convenience store when he was fatally shot by Jonathan Scott, a 52-year-old bread delivery truck driver. The tragic encounter was sparked by the alleged theft of a lunchbox from Scott's truck.
