On June 21, 2016, in Huntsville, Alabama, 16-year-old Mustafa Bearfield was fatally shot by 50-year-old delivery truck driver Jonathan Scott. The incident occurred near the intersection of 4th Street and 10th Avenue around 7 a.m. Scott had stopped at a store, and upon returning to his truck, he discovered Bearfield allegedly stealing a cooler containing lunch items.
