In the spring of 2017, a domestic disturbance in a quiet Huntsville, Alabama neighborhood culminated in the tragic death of 40-year-old Jason Daniel Oliver. On the morning of March 30th, police responded to a call and discovered Mr. Oliver at his residence, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. His wife, 43-year-old Ann Rene Oliver, a former schoolteacher, was present at the scene and was subsequently taken into custody.
