On June 29, 2022, 55-year-old Bill Friday Clark was fatally shot at a Marathon gas station located at the corner of Henderson Road Northwest and the 4000-block of University Drive in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred around 11:59 p.m. Authorities from the Huntsville Police Department (HPD) reported that the shooting stemmed from an argument over property, which escalated into violence.
