Tavaris Williams, a 23-year-old male, tragically lost his life to gun violence in Selma, Alabama, on the evening of October 15, 2016. The incident that led to his untimely death unfolded on the 2500 block of Etheridge Street, where officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
