In the spring of 2024, the life of Titus Chaney, a 36-year-old man, was tragically cut short on a street in Selma, Alabama. On the evening of Friday, May 3rd, what began as a heated argument between Chaney and his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Thomas, on the 100 block of Alabama Avenue escalated into a fatal encounter. Another person was also injured during the incident but was fortunate to be treated and released.
