On November 27, 2020, in Selma, Alabama, 28-year-old Johnny James Bonner III and 24-year-old Wendell Pullom were fatally shot in the 1300 block of Ceola L. Miller Avenue. Responding officers found both men unresponsive at the scene, having suffered gunshot wounds, and they were pronounced dead upon arrival.
