In the early morning hours of June 2, 2020, the life of 48-year-old Christopher Murphy, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Selma, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting, police discovered Murphy on the 400 block of King Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
