On April 29, 2023, 28-year-old Je'Von Nakia Hall was fatally shot in Selma, Alabama. The incident occurred around noon in the 1300 block of Highland Avenue, near Hibbett Sports. Upon arrival, Selma Police Department officers found Hall unresponsive with gunshot wounds; he was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
