In the spring of 2023, the life of 28-year-old JeVon Nakia Hall was tragically cut short in his hometown of Selma, Alabama. On the afternoon of Saturday, April 29, gunfire erupted in the parking lot of a shopping center located in the 1300 block of Highland Avenue. When Selma Police Department officers arrived at the scene near a Hibbett Sports store, they discovered Hall unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds.
