In the early hours of April 3, 2022, the life of 30-year-old Stephon Andre Walker, Jr., a Black / African American man from Selma, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Walker was discovered with gunshot wounds and, despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead. The Selma Police Department quickly responded to the scene and launched a homicide investigation into the fatal shooting.
