Marquis Dewon Moorer, a 25-year-old police officer from Selma, Alabama, tragically lost his life on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 4:00 am, when Officer Moorer stopped at his apartment for his meal break. He was shot and killed in what has been described as an ambush.
