On May 19, 2015, 39-year-old Jesscilus Phillips was found shot to death in the driveway of his home on Laredo Court in the Pine Glenn Estates neighborhood near Craig Field, Selma, Alabama. The Dallas County Sheriff's Department received a call around 5:30 a.m. reporting an individual lying face down in the driveway.
