In the spring of 2025, the community of Selma, Alabama, was struck by a violent act that claimed the life of a young man. On the night of Friday, April 25th, shots rang out in the vicinity of Church Street and Minter Avenue, prompting a response from the Selma Police Department. Upon their arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Daquand Hall suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
