Death by Force

In early November 2016, the Selma community was shaken by the tragic death of 17-year-old Derrick Nichols. Reported missing on October 28, 2016, Derrick's body was discovered on November 3 in a wooded area off River Road by a landowner preparing his land for hunting. The Selma Police Department confirmed his identity the following day.
