In the early morning hours of February 16, 2025, a Valentine's Day weekend was tragically cut short for Terry Wayne Harris, a 45-year-old man, in Selma, Alabama. The fatal incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Race Street at a local entertainment establishment.

When Selma Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Harris had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The violence that ended his life was part of a troubling string of events in the city over that weekend. ...
