On a tragically altered Christmas Eve in 2016, the life of 51-year-old Linda Faye Hall was cut short in a burst of gunfire in a west Birmingham neighborhood. The incident, which unfolded on a Friday night, also left three other individuals wounded, casting a somber shadow over the holiday weekend. Birmingham police responded to the chaotic scene to find Hall suffering from a gunshot wound. She was quickly transported to a local hospital, but her injuries proved fatal.
