Kennie Wayne Crockett, a 24-year-old male from Austin, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2016. He was fatally shot while seated as a passenger in a vehicle near the Eagle's Landing Apartments at 8000 Decker Lane in East Austin. The vehicle was fired upon, and Crockett, along with the driver, was struck by the bullets. Despite immediate medical attention and efforts to perform CPR by the responding deputies, Crockett succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
