Jacob Andrew Turner, a 24-year-old male from Austin, Texas, tragically died on February 23, 2022. His death was ruled a homicide by gunshot wounds. Turner was involved in a drug deal gone wrong at a Murphy gas station near 710 E. Ben White Blvd. During the transaction, Turner and the suspect, Sevon Herman Randle, 19, could not agree on a price for the pills. Randle pulled out a handgun and shot Turner, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
