Nathan Limoge, a 28-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2022, in Austin, Texas. He was one of two victims found shot to death in a parking lot in North Austin. The incident occurred around noon, and both Limoge and the other victim, Christopher Rivers, 38, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kim claimed that he had shot the victims in self-defense after an altercation. However, eyewitness accounts contradicted his statement, with some witnesses reporting that Kim pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at close range. Kim was charged with capital murder and held without bond.
The case went to trial, and on May 24, 2024, Kim was convicted of two counts of murder. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the death of Rivers and 60 years for the death of Limoge, with both sentences to be served concurrently, resulting in a combined 110 years in prison.
