Michael Seibert, a 41-year-old man from Austin, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on December 6, 2022. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Mankato Drive, near Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park. At approximately 4:52 p.m., a 911 call reported a shooting in the area. When officers arrived, they found Seibert with "obvious signs of trauma" and began life-saving efforts until Austin-Travis County EMS arrived.
