In the early hours of February 3, 2017, the life of 27-year-old Charles Lee Brown Jr. was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. A Black male, Brown was discovered in his vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 59, the victim of a fatal shooting. The discovery was made by a passerby who noticed the car and stopped to investigate, finding Brown unresponsive inside.
