In the small town of Snowflake, Arizona, a fatal encounter unfolded, leaving one man dead and another in custody. On February 29, 2016, 56-year-old Darrell Richey was shot and killed. The incident occurred at the residence of 40-year-old Gabriel Barnes, located at 9801 Juniper Berry Trail.
According to the Navajo County Sheriff's Office, Richey had gone to Barnes' home where a gunfight erupted between the two men. Richey sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and succumbed to his injuries
