On a September evening in 2020, the life of 28-year-old Reginald Kelly II was cut short by gunfire in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The fatal encounter unfolded on Thursday, September 10, just after 9 p.m., inside a residence at 1715 51st Street. When Birmingham police officers arrived at the scene, they found Kelly suffering from a gunshot wound.
