In the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a dispute inside a residence on the night of March 18, 2018, turned fatal for 29-year-old Jamaal Grimes. Grimes, a Black male, sustained gunshot wounds during the altercation at a home located at 2501 29th Street Ensley. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died on March 19, 2018.
