In the late afternoon of a September day in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a dispute between a man and a woman over property they shared took a tragic and fatal turn. The man, 28-year-old Richard Earl Jenkins Jr., would not survive the encounter that unfolded on Monday, September 9, 2019.
