In early March 2015, a fatal incident occurred in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, involving 20-year-old David "Young Dave" White. On March 1, White, along with two associates, Antonio Dancer and Jemarian Hinton, attempted to rob Marcellus Keandre Deshon Britton in the 3900 block of 30th Place. During the confrontation, Britton fired shots, striking White. White was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on March 2.
