On a Tuesday morning in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a domestic dispute tragically escalated on the southbound lanes of Interstate 59/20. The life of 27-year-old Dennis Melton was cut short on February 8, 2022, in an act that was initially reported as a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. First responders arrived at the scene around 11:15 a.m. to find Melton trapped underneath the car.
