On June 27, 2020, 33-year-old Jeffrey Charles was fatally shot during a large gathering in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near the intersection of 24th Avenue East and 3rd Street East. A physical altercation erupted among attendees, leading to multiple individuals drawing firearms and discharging them.
