On the morning of September 5, 2021, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 53-year-old Willie Haywood Jr. was fatally shot during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. at a residence in the 4400 block of 20th Street NE. Upon arrival, deputies from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office found Haywood deceased from a gunshot wound.
