On the evening of March 28, 2022, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 26-year-old Lamont LaKeith Cameron, a Black male, was fatally shot in a violent encounter that also left his half-brother wounded. The two men were inside a vehicle in the 3000 block of 27th Street in West Tuscaloosa when the shooting occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m.
