On the night of January 28, 2024, 30-year-old Demarkus Ge-Juan Hall, also known as 'Shrek,' was fatally shot at the Landmark Apartments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Hall, a male, was reportedly at the apartment complex visiting friends, as he did not reside there. The incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m., was not a random act of violence.
