In the early hours of January 1, 2023, 26-year-old Deshawn Tanthony Eatmon was fatally shot at Brookhaven Apartments, located at 1310 James I. Harrison Jr. Parkway East in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Tuscaloosa Police Department officers responded to the scene around 2:20 a.m. and discovered Eatmon deceased from gunshot wounds.
