In the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2023, the life of 26-year-old Deshawn Tanthony Eatmon, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The fatal incident unfolded around 2:20 a.m. at the Brookhaven Apartments located at 1310 James I. Harrison Jr. Parkway East. When Tuscaloosa Police officers arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting, they discovered Eatmon deceased.
