On October 16, 2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 19-year-old Schuyler Bradley was shot near the 1700 block of University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, an area known as "The Strip" adjacent to the University of Alabama campus. Bradley, a sophomore at Indiana University and member of the Acacia Fraternity, was visiting friends to attend the Alabama-Georgia football game. He was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries early on October 17.
