Death by Force

On May 25, 2021, at approximately 9:40 p.m., 36-year-old Stanley Ray Hopson Jr. was fatally shot at his apartment in the 1000 block of Florentine Circle, within the Country Park Apartments in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office discovered Hopson unresponsive in his doorway, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
