In the early evening of December 8, 2019, tragedy struck in Birmingham, Alabama, when 18-year-old Ivey Carter Wilson III was found fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Tucker Avenue, where Birmingham Police officers responded to a report of a shooting.
