On a cool autumn evening in Jefferson County, Alabama, the life of 21-year-old Kendall Jarrod Thornton Jr. was tragically cut short. On November 6, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Thornton was driving his blue Kia Forte along Pinson Valley Parkway near Cleage Drive when the unthinkable happened. An unknown assailant, or assailants, opened fire on his vehicle, striking him with a bullet.
