On March 18, 2020, Randal Taylor was fatally shot in Prichard, Alabama. Four individuals—Samuel Nichols, Jacob Weaver, Shannon Lewis, and Amy Palmer—were arrested and charged with murder in connection to his death. Their bond hearings took place shortly after the incident, with arraignments set for March 25, 2020.
