On October 23, 2016, at approximately 1:11 a.m., officers from the Mobile Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Farnell Drive in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Demetrius Clemons inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mobile Fire-Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
