On December 15, 2022, at approximately 6:58 PM, Dothan Police officers responded to a firearm assault in the 1300 block of Alexander Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered that 21-year-old Alfonso Morrissette had been transported to Southeast Health by a personal vehicle. Morrissette suffered a single gunshot wound to the upper torso and, despite immediate surgical intervention, succumbed to his injuries.
