Death by Force

On the evening of March 11, 2023, at approximately 7:33 p.m., Mobile Police officers were in the vicinity of the Quick Stop Food Mart located in the 5000 block of Overlook Road when a passerby alerted them to a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Willie Thomas Jr. lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
