Maurice Anderson, a 24-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was fatally shot in the early hours of May 7, 2023, in the parking lot of Build America Plaza located in Bailey's Crossroads, Virginia. The incident occurred around 2:19 a.m. when officers from the Fairfax County Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 3800 block of South George Mason Drive.
