On December 30, 2023, at approximately 4:13 a.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2000 block of DeKruif Court in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Lamount Fagan, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
