Joshua Steven Barnickel, a 37-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was found dead on October 22, 2022, in what authorities later confirmed to be a homicide. Barnickel's body was discovered in a residential area of Mobile after reports of a shooting were received around midday. When police arrived, they found Barnickel with gunshot wounds.
