Death by Force

On the evening of March 19, 2025, officers from the Mobile Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 1500 block of Colgin Street. Upon arrival, they learned that the victim, Cedric Redd, a 23-year-old African American male, had already been transported to a local hospital by personal vehicle. Despite medical efforts, Cedric succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. Authorities confirmed that he had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
