In the early evening of Wednesday, March 19, 2025, a burst of violence on Colgin Street in Mobile, Alabama, claimed the life of 23-year-old Cedric Redd. At approximately 6:28 p.m., police were called to the 1500 block of the street in response to a shooting. By the time officers arrived, Redd had already been transported by a personal vehicle to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to a gunshot wound shortly after his arrival.
