In the late hours of a Saturday evening, a dispute at a Twin Peaks restaurant on University Drive in Huntsville, Alabama, tragically cut short the life of 23-year-old Rayshun Markelle Bates. On November 9, 2024, what began as a verbal disagreement between several people spiraled into violence, resulting in a shooting that left Bates fatally wounded.
