In the spring of 2021, the life of a promising young athlete was tragically cut short on the streets of Huntsville, Alabama. Deunta KeShun 'Pooda' Moore, a 17-year-old Black male, was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting on the evening of March 12th. A varsity basketball player at Mae Jemison High School, Moore was known as a leader both on and off the court.
