In the spring of 2018, the life of 49-year-old Jeffrey Louis Parker came to a tragic end in his Huntsville, Alabama, home. On April 3rd, Parker himself made a distressing call to 911, informing dispatchers that he was armed and contemplating suicide. This call set in motion a chain of events that would leave one man dead and a police officer facing a murder charge. When officers arrived at the Deramus Avenue residence, they found Parker inside, holding a gun.
