On August 24, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Huntsville Police responded to a call reporting a shooting victim on the 2000 block of Griffith Drive near Atkins Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old African American male Brandon Lamont Moore suffering from gunshot wounds; he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
