In the summer of 2016, the life of 19-year-old Jaylen Cosby was tragically cut short in what would become a complex and lengthy pursuit of justice. On July 5th of that year, Cosby, a young male from Huntsville, Alabama, was found deceased from gunshot wounds inside a residence on Broadmor Road. He was not alone; alongside him was 17-year-old Khayree Austin, another victim of the fatal shooting in what authorities would classify as a double homicide.
