On March 15, 2018, 23-year-old Devonte Lashaun Bone was fatally shot at the Westlake Apartments in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. when Bone was seated in his vehicle; a passenger was also present and sustained injuries. Bone was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
