On the morning of February 4, 2021, Huntsville Police Department officers responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of Chalet Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered 56-year-old Michael Donofrio deceased in the roadway, having suffered apparent gunshot wounds. The official cause of death was still under investigation at that time.
